(Psalm 119:71) - “It was good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes.” Even painful wounds become part of the path that leads back to God.
I was lost where the night runs deep
(Ephesians 5:8) - “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord.” Once consumed by darkness, now brought into the light of Christ.
Now I walk with a fire You keep
(2 Timothy 1:6) - “Fan into flame the gift of God.” The fire within is sustained and stirred by God, not self-generated.
Gravel shifts but my footing’s sure
(Psalm 121:3) - “He will not let your foot be moved.” Even when the ground beneath shifts unexpectedly, God keeps His people secure and steady.
What You started, You will secure
(Philippians 1:6) - “He who began a good work… will carry it on to completion.” God finishes what He begins.
What once chased me, now I walk through
(Romans 8:15) - “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again… rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.” Fear no longer rules the path because identity has been changed through adoption into God’s family.
Every road leads me back to You
(Jeremiah 31:18–19) - “Bring me back that I may return.” Even in wandering, God restores and turns the heart back to Him.

(Hebrews 4:12) - “The word of God… pierces to the division of soul and spirit.” God’s truth cuts deep, exposing and transforming from within.
What was weak didn’t stay that way
(2 Corinthians 12:9) - “My power is made perfect in weakness.” Weakness becomes strength through God.
You forged me from dust and clay
(Isaiah 64:8) - “We are the clay, You are the potter.” God forms and reshapes.
Name rewritten by the flame
(Isaiah 43:1, Malachi 3:2–3) - “I have called you by name, you are mine… He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.” Identity is claimed by God and reshaped through refining fire.
Not my will, I release my claim
(Luke 22:42) - “Not my will, but Yours be done.” Surrender of control.
Now I stand where I used to fall
(Proverbs 24:16) - “Though the righteous fall… they rise again.” Restoration replaces defeat.
Not my will, I give you all
(Romans 12:1) - “Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice.” Full surrender.

What tried to break me made me stand
(Psalm 40:1–2) - “He drew me up from the pit of destruction… and set my feet upon a rock.” What once brought collapse became the place where God rescued, restored, and taught steadfastness.
When I placed it in Your hands
(1 Peter 5:7) - “Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.” Surrender transfers the burden to God.
Even death don’t shake me now
(1 Corinthians 15:55–57) - “O death, where is your victory?” Death has lost its power through Christ.
My every chain I now lay down
(John 8:36) - “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” True freedom comes through Christ.
You were with me in the night
(Psalm 139:11–12) - “Even the darkness is not dark to you.” God’s presence remains in darkness.

(Jeremiah 32:17) - “Nothing is too hard for you.” Confidence replaces fear through God’s power.
